1. THE COMPETITION
“Live the language” is a website built on www.ef.com/win. The competition is initiated by EF Education First Ltd (EF), a Switzerland-based company located at: Haldenstrasse 4, 6006 Luzern.
The competition allows participants to have the chance to win a two-week course by answering a phonetically-spelled question about the country of their dream EF destination.
2. TIMELINE
The global competition starts 12th of January 2012 and ends the 7th of February 2012. Local differences might occur.
3. PARTICIPATION
In order to participate in the competition the participant must fill in the form with his details and accept the terms and conditions of the competition.
4. PRIZE
The prize is a 2 weeks course abroad in the dream EF destination for one person. Included in the course is:
• Accommodation (in an EF residence or in a EF host family)
• Full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner)
• Transportation (EF will choose the type and time of transport and will issue the tickets)
5. SELECTION & COMMUNICATION
If you win a prize, you will be notified by EMAIL in February 2012
EF Education First Ltd will also announce the winners in February 2012.
EF has the full rights to choose any winner according to the competition rules. Underage students must get their parents’ consent to travel. If a winner cannot go on the trip (for example, if the dates are inconvenient or if an underage student doesn’t get his parents’ consent to travel), the prize will be lost. Students below 18 years may not be able to participate in all activities.
The prize will not be transferable to another person, and no part of a prize is exchangeable for cash. EF may or may not choose to draw another, unrelated, winner for the lost prize. If an advertised prize is not available, EF Education First reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. There will be no correspondence on the competition. The competition is not open to employees of EF or their family members.
