EF has been named one of the top 50 foreign companies to contribute to China by the China Enterprise Union. This influential survey takes into account EF's social and economic contribution to the country, including EF's participation in the Olympics, disaster relief efforts for the Sichuan earthquake, volunteer teaching of migrant children, as well as the Bertil Hult, Founder of EF, primary school near Chongqing.

Additionally, EF's continual investment in academic research and development, as well as the network of EF schools across the country demonstrates a long-term commitment to English education in China.
