EF Discovery Tours

See the Great Barrier Reef, visit the Outback or sail around the Whitsunday Islands. Australia is like no other place on earth. Take the opportunity to visit some of Australia’s beautiful locations during your exchange year.

Your Discovery Tour

Tours last between 3 and 10 days and usually take place during your school vacation.

There are new itineraries every year, so you get the opportunity to choose from different tours.

You will travel in groups of up to 45 people, which means your host siblings and high school friends are also welcome to join.

You will recieve information about the tour options and booking conditions while abroad.

Example Tours

September: Sunny Queensland

See one of Australia’s most popular attractions: the 2000 kilometer-long Great Barrier Reef. Sail around the Whitsunday Islands and Whitehaven beach. Visit Fraser Island and other exciting places.

April: The Great Outback

Taste adventure with a visit to Ayers Rock and the Desert Park, where you can see some of Australia’s indigenous animals. Ride a camel and, if you are brave enough, hold a snake in your hands. Climb up King’s Canyon, cool down with a swim in the Garden of Eden and Ellery Creek, visit the Olgas and take a group photo at Simpson Gap.
