New York - EF International Campus

Student life

Sightseeing & Culture

Start at Midtown Manhattan’s Grand Central Station, just a few blocks from the bright lights of Times Square and Broadway’s world-famous theaters. Hop in an iconic yellow cab and head to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where European masterpieces grace gallery walls. Crane your neck to view the top or the Chrysler Building or look at the Brooklyn Bridge and symbolic Statue of Liberty. And that’s just day one.

Shopping

Manhattan is home to countless shopping opportunities, from Midtown’s word-renowned department stores of Macy’s, Saks 5th Avenue and Barney’s to SoHo’s independently-run fashion boutiques. Take advantage of the daily shuttle service from the EF campus to the Palisades Center Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the United States.

Sports & Outdoors

With two professional teams in every major American sport, New Yorkers always have something to cheer for. A visit to Madison Square Garden is a must for any sports fan. Active students will marvel at the possibilities on our wooded 25 acre campus, where jogging trails, sports fields and our 6-lane indoor swimming pool are just steps from EF classrooms.

Excursions

On the weekends, EF’s activities coordinators plan trips to neighboring cities and sites. Visit the historic metropolises of Philadelphia, Boston and Washington DC and get a taste of the Canadian lifestyle in Toronto and Montreal. You’ll have the chance to stand in the mist of Niagara Falls, an unforgettable experience.

Entertainment & Nightlife

New York has been dubbed ‘the city that never sleeps’ for a reason. Dance the night away at celebrity-filled nightclubs in the Meatpacking district. Stand front row at your favorite band’s concert at the Bowery Ballroom. Or stay on campus for EF’s frequent student parties.
